Hacks To Grow Your Business And Launch With Limited Time

digital ceo entrepreneur mom ceo life

Recently, I shared a few of my favorite hacks on how to actually LAUNCH without the stress or overwhelm.  You can check out that quick 2-minute read >> HERE <<.

However, if you are thinking EVEN before actually launching... and pondering if you even have the TIME to launch, then buttercup, listen up.  You got the time.

I know, how in the world can I possibly even say this to you. I have absolutely NO idea what you are going through in this season in your life.  AND You are completely right.  I don't.

But here's the thing:  If it's a PRIORITY to you in THIS SEASON you are in, you have the time.

This means, if other things take priority such as health of a loved one... or your own mental/physical well-being (as examples) then maybe NOW isn't the season.  Because THOSE are taking priority.  And baby cakes, that is completely good.  You take care of YOU and your priorities.

HOWEVER

If you are making your business and launching a new offer/product/service a priority, you have the time. It may not be a lot of time, but you got it.

This is coming from a woman who homeschools her grade-school twins, solo-parents 75% of time, works as a head coach in an entrepreneurial community and provides physical therapy on one of her littles every day while trying to solidify her personal goal of becoming an endurance athlete.  PLUS, recently, we added nine puppies to our list.

Did you catch the latter, NINE puppies?!?  Yes, we are insane.  The hubster jokes if it's not massively chaotic in our house then it's a bad day...

It's funny to think about, yet, I wonder WHY we attract so much chaos in our lives.  That is another blog for another day.

The point is when it's a priority, you find the time.   There's a quote by Steven Covey which says it best.

The point isn't to prioritize your schedule but to schedule your priorities.

And on that note, let's breakdown a few of my absolute favorite hacks to help you grow or launch your business when you have limited time.

NOTE

Limited time is going to mean something different to every single person reading this blog... it may mean 1-2 hours a day or even 4-6 hours a day.  In my current season, limited time means 1-2 hours a day for 5-6 days a week (~12hrs/week).

Understanding you are either IN a launch or gearing up for a launch.  This was taught to me inside an entrepreneurial community and it completely shifted how I work in my business.

Meaning if I'm not currently IN a launch or promoting an offer/service then the focus needs to be on serving my audience where they are NOW in their journey.

Ways you can think about this is:

  • What does my audience need for me NOW in their journey?
  • What offer would I like to guide them towards to help them?
  • What is my preferred method to serve my audience? Podcast? Blog? Social Media reels? YouTube?
  • What can I commit to consistently?  Is this one blog post a week?  Is this one podcast a week?  Is this 2-3 social media posts a week?
    • There's no wrong answer here... unless you answered inconsistent.

If you need a guide to breakdown how you can repurpose your content so you can hustle less and serve more, I got you covered.  Click >>HERE << to see how I breakdown my weekly blog and share on multiple platforms.

You identified whether you are in LAUNCH mode or pre-launch mode ☑️

You identified what type of content you would like to post consistently ☑️

You identified what "consistently" looks like specifically for you ☑️

You snagged the Repurposing Strategy Guide so you can repurpose like a boss ☑️

Now, it's time to peek behind the curtain to figure out how to utilize your time efficiently so you can grow your business without the hustle.

And the only way I have found to help is BLOCK YOUR TIME.  There I said it.  Block your freaking time... but I would also like to add in here, be flexible with your day.

What this could look like for instance is:  I block 2 hours MTThFSat for 2 hours of work.  Based on my personality type, I do fantastic if I can ZONE out for 2 hours to get as much as work as possible rather than get distracted and work in snippets.

So, I schedule Mondays to work from 6am-8am after the hubster leaves for work and before the Gillies, our twins wake up.

However, LIFE happens!  And I try to be flexible to these time blocks... if for some reason, our twins wake up earlier than normal.  I adjust our blocks of time.  Maybe instead of working from 6-8am, I work during their breakfast and devotional reading from 8-10am OR maybe I give them an afternoon craft project at 3pm to bust out my two hours of work then.

The point is:  Do not negotiate with your work time; however, be flexible when life happens.

LIMITED TIME HACKS // 03

Take time to slow down.  When working with clients, one of the things majority of them grumble about is slowing down to actually THINK about where their ideal customer is in her journey.

Seriously. Grumble-topolis.

Clients typically just want to build the sales page, write the emails, get their social media content and make the sales.

But if we don't take time to actually slow down to figure out where our clients are in their journey, then we will be as folks say "throwing spaghetti on the wall to see what sticks".

Breaking down where folks are in their journey helps with the following:

  • Knowing what pain points to talk about in your weekly content
  • Knowing what they are saying to themselves
  • Knowing what objections they might have
  • Knowing what they actually NEED YOU to share with THEM to best SERVE them
  • And so much more

Here's one way to think of it.

Imagine. You are going on an epic road trip with your ideal client!  You know where you are starting together (POINT A) as well as the destination (POINT B).  However, ALL the other details such as the roads you will take, airbnbs you'll be crashing, rest stops and diners are all the details you need to figure out!  Plus, I didn't even mention the playlist or podcasts, your client may want to listen to... can you picture it?

Your client also has a POINT A (where she is now before working with you/your product) and POINT B (the transformation your offer/service provided).

It's now about discovering ALL the details in between.

  • What is her current struggle?  What is her "pain point"?
  • What ways can I help her with this pain point?  What's the solution I have found which might help?
  • What is an objection she might have to not wanting to invest in my offer?
  • What is a limiting belief she might be holding onto?

By doing THIS you will actually be shaving time off because you'll have a blueprint or a map of the journey your client is taking WITH YOU.

RECAP

You identified whether you are in LAUNCH mode or pre-launch mode ☑️

You identified what type of content you would like to post consistently ☑️

You identified what "consistently" looks like specifically for you ☑️

You snagged the Repurposing Strategy Guide so you can repurpose like a boss ☑️

You understand blocking the time to work needs to be non-negotiable; however, it's just as important to be flexible with WHEN it happens during the day ☑️

You realized the importance of slowing down to best serve your audience ☑️

You can visualize how to take your client from POINT A to POINT B  ☑️

You have a map with questions to ask yourself to best serve your audience on their journey towards working with you ☑️

This may not have been the HACKS you were looking for when you came across this blog.  However, knowing exactly WHEN you are going to work with time blocking... HOW you are going to work with consistent content... and WHAT to say to your ideal client is part of the MAGICAL FORMULA to utilizing your time efficiently when you are short on it!

WHEN TO WORK + WHAT TYPE OF CONTENT (plus repurposing) + WHAT TO SAY = MAGICAL GROWTH EXILIR FOR YOUR BUSINESS
